Green Maiden is a team (more like a family) of innovators who care about much the same things as you: our families and friends, our communities and our environment. We also happen to be passionate and admittedly a little nerdy about hemp, as we believe that carefully curated, premium- quality CBD can be an important catalyst for optimal health.

How we got here
Green Maiden began in 2016 as the passion project of our founders, two brothers who grew up in a coastal Maine home where Mom grew herbs such as St. John’s Wort, dandelion root, and, yes, cannabis (before it caught mainstream attention) to make tinctures for the natural treatment of the symptoms of anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, and fatigue. As adults, these brothers experienced first-hand the high levels of stress and fatigue that often characterize today’s corporate and professional environments. Many of their close colleagues and lifelong friends seemed to go through similar experiences.
After a particularly difficult period of burnout and family illnesses, the idea for Green Maiden was born: a company based on the highest ethical ideals of quality, transparency, and genuine concern for customers who have similarly experienced the often taxing demands of modern life and are seeking natural solutions. From the beginning, Green Maiden sought to develop meaningful relationships with our clients, many of whom came to us when conventional medicine had failed . . . or had even made things worse. Cannabis proved to be extremely beneficial to our clients’ health and general wellbeing, and Green Maiden quickly established a reputation as a conscientious source of innovative, top- quality CBD products.
