Water-soluble

A term used to describe substances that dissolve in water. While most CBD is fat-soluble, water-soluble CBD has emerged as a new and promising option. It’s better able to permeate the human body and may be up to ten times more effective than other options.

Bioavailable

The percentage of a substance that enters the bloodstream intact and produces its effects. A well-formulated supplement of any kind will have good bioavailability. CBD’s bioavailability ranges from 10-90% depending on the delivery method used.

Nano-Emulsified

Generally speaking, Nano refers to something very small. In this case it refers to our nanoemulsified CBD. This special type of CBD has a very low droplet size — as small as 25 nanometers across — and very high bioavailability — around 90%. Contrast that with normal CBD, which is only 20% bioavailable, and it’s easy to see the difference.

Full Spectrum

At Green Maiden we take a holistic approach to CBD. Unlike CBD isolate, Full Spectrum contains all of the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids naturally present in hemp. By utilizing the whole plant we achieve what’s called the “entourage effect”.

Hydrophilic

Our CBD oil is more compatible with the human body, which is made mostly of water. In addition to being nano-enhanced, it’s also hydrophilic — a.k.a. “water loving” — making it a perfect match for our body composition.

GMP-Certified

The Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification ensures that manufacturers and companies operate within quality measures to protect consumers.

Organic Hemp

All Green Maiden CBD is sourced from organically grown hemp and manufactured without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents.

Pesticide-Free

Pesticides can carry significant health risks. Our hemp is grown naturally and produced without the use of chemicals.

Non-GMO

Our CBD selection is derived from non–genetically modified hemp plants and free from fillers, additives or preservatives.
